1. Fruity Spring Cocktails

With spring comes fresh spring produce, including some of the most delicious and refreshing fruits, such as oranges and papayas. This of course means it’s the perfect wedding season for fruit-based cocktails! Punches, sangrias and fruit garnished cocktails are ideal for featuring some delicious seasonal flavors that will quench your guests’ thirst during your wedding reception. Cocktails are always a great way to show some creativity, as well as embrace the season of your wedding. You can even feature fruits and flavors that are specific to the location of your personal wedding. For example, if you are having a California wedding, try featuring a Cali-cocktail with oranges!

2. Colorful + Bold Menswear

Black tuxes and dark navy suits are classic, but spring weddings call for a little bit more flare. Consider opting for a brighter blue suit or a funky sock choice instead. These accents help to switch things up from the ordinary groomswear style, while also embracing the bright colors of spring. Pink, peach, and lavender toned boutonnieres are a great touch for spring grooms and bold-colored or printed ties are another perfect way for a groom to stand out on their wedding day. Don’t forget to make sure to even things out with the rest of the groom’s look in order to avoid any clashing colors or patterns.

3. Bright + Bold Bouquets

Bright pinks, oranges and purples are amazing stand-out spring colors that will make for some beautifully bright memories. Even with these bright floral accents, don’t be afraid to let your bridesmaids sport some color. To avoid any clashing or overload of brightness, choose a color for your bridesmaids dresses that is complimenting and slightly more muted than the colors of your bouquet. For some ideal pictures that really show off the gorgeous spring colors in your bouquet, try to find a venue that has textured white backgrounds, such as this gorgeous white brick wall featured at Casino San Clemente. The bright white background will allow your bouquet to pop, while the textures help to not wash out your white gown.

4. Greenery Galore

Spring, of course, means leaves are green again and gardens are bustling with new foliage. Embrace this season of greenery with plenty of bright green plants! Try to include some greenery in your spring wedding decor, whether it be on your tablescape, on your welcome table, or even by having a greenery accent wall. If you really want to embrace the greenery vibe, there are plenty of fantastic wedding venues that are a plant-lover’s dream. Two of our favorites here at Leilani Weddings are The Fig House and Smog Shoppe, both of which have foliage walls.

5. Flower Girl Flower Crowns

Flower crowns for brides are always a fun Boho look, but if you aren’t so sure about wearing one yourself, you can always have your flower girl rock one! This is not only an adorable accessory to any flower girl ensemble, but it’s also another way to embrace the season of all things floral. Your flower girl will certainly look the part with this spring-inspired accent and your guests will barely be able to contain their “awwws” as she walks down the aisle.

6. Leaf Print Stationary

Simple white stationary accented with green leaf or foliage prints is a beautifully elegant way to highlight your spring wedding. While more colorful and bright stationary is also a fun idea for spring weddings, the simplicity of this type of design is ideal for those seeking a more clean and organic stationary style. A simple watercolor print of a sprig of lavender or rosemary makes for a lovely design for everything from menus to save-the-dates.

Sweetheart tables are the perfect place to include an incredible floral display. White and light peach toned florals that feature large sprigs of green are ideal for a spring sweetheart table. The beauty of the flowers will add a romantic vibe, while the light earthy tones will allow you and your groom to stand out behind the display. White linens are perfect for this look, making for a fresh spring color scheme. This also allows the bright green leaves and stems from the flower display to shine through. Add some simple white tapered or floating candles to create an even more elegant spring wedding look.

8. Glass Signage

Using glass as a sign material is a fantastic option for spring weddings. It will open up the room, making for an overall brighter space, while also allowing you to get creative with some DIY or vintage decor. Glass signage is not only aesthetically gorgeous, but it is also a great affordable choice when it comes to signs for your wedding. If you are looking for a way to incorporate more DIY accents on your wedding day, try to find a cool vintage mirror or repurposed window frame to create some amazing glass signage. You can also be as modern or as rustic as you want with this wedding decor idea based on the materials, colors, and fonts that you choose.

9. Creative Succulent Accents

Succulents can be used in a variety of ways for weddings, including as centerpieces or as hanging plants. Try to think of some fun ways to incorporate succulents into your wedding decor and photos! You can include succulents on your cake, use them as a placement for your ring photos, and much more. Succulents are just another way to add a spring-inspired botanical touch to your wedding ceremony or wedding reception. If you are someone who does not necessarily love overly-feminine florals, this is a great option for you when it comes to adding some greenery and brightness to your spring wedding decor.

10. Garden-Inspired Welcome Table

Get into the spirit of spring by using garden-inspired decor elements on your welcome table. You don’t need to actually have a garden wedding in order to embrace the botanical vibes of this season. Simply add touches such as organic floral displays and vintage birdcages in order to create a garden-inspired look. Try to use a mix of materials that you would see in a garden, like metals and woods, in order to really let this look pop!
